Terms & Conditions Acuity World Courses & Inhouse Training

These terms of sale and delivery apply to all offers and orders placed through Acuity World ApS, unless these are waived by express written agreement between the parties. Buyer's particulars of own terms in e-mails, ordinary letters, order, confirmation, etc. is not considered a valid departure from the terms of sale and delivery. Acuity World ApS reserves the right to make minor changes and additions to the agreed terms of sale and delivery.

1. ORDER / COURSE CONFIRMATION

An agreement between the buyer and Acuity World ApS is considered to have been concluded when Acuity World ApS has sent order or course confirmation. Buyer's objections to the content of the confirmation must be in writing and reach Acuity World Aps no later than 5 business days after the confirmation date.

2. PRICE AND TERMS OF PAYMENT

Offer is binding for Acuity World ApS for 14 days from the date of the offer, unless otherwise stated in the offer. Invoice will be shipped upon order receipt and must be paid within 14 days. For payments after due, interest is calculated on the invoice amount by 1/6 of the discount applicable at any given time per month. commenced month, however, with min. 1.75% pr. commenced month in effect from the due date.

3. CANCELLATION OF OPEN COURSES **

Cancellation of courses must be done in writing stating the invoice number. If canceled earlier than 6 weeks before the first course day * 90% of the course price will be refunded. If canceled later than 6 weeks and earlier than 4 weeks before the first course day * 50% of the course price will be refunded. If canceled later than 4 weeks before the first day of the course * no part of the course price will be refunded. If the buyer is prevented from participating, the buyer is welcome to send another participant from the company against prior written notice to Acuity World ApS.

4. MOVING OF OPEN COURSES **

If the buyer wants to move his / her participation in open courses this can be done in agreement with Acuity World ApS up to 4 weeks before the first course day *. However, if course participation is postponed at the buyer's request, the payment terms as agreed for the originally agreed course course will apply. If the buyer wishes to move his / her participation from the individual module, a transfer fee of DKK 2,500.00, - excl. VAT per module relocation. If the buyer wishes to move his / her participation later than 4 weeks before the first course day * Acuity World ApS has the right to consider this as a cancellation (see section 3).

5. IMPLEMENTATION OF OPEN COURSES

Reimbursement will not be granted if the buyer chooses not to participate in all or part of the course.

 

6. OPEN TARGETS / CANCELLATION **

In case of over-subscription or too few registrations, Acuity World ApS reserves the right to postpone or cancel the course with 3 days notice. If a sub-course or a simple course day is canceled because the instructor is ill / prevented / absent and a suitable substitute cannot be organized, Acuity World Aps will arrange replacement course days as far as possible. If Acuity World ApS does not offer compensation day (s), repayment of a proportionate part of the course fee is instead offered.

7. CANCELLATION OF CONSULTANTS / IN-HOUSE COURSES

Cancellation of consulting services / in-house courses must be done in writing stating the invoice number. If canceled earlier than 4 months before the first day, the entire course price will be refunded minus a 10% administration fee. If canceled later than 4 months before the first day, no part of the course price will be refunded, unless Acuity World ApS has sold the consultancy service / course to other customers.

8. MOVING CONSULTANTS / IN-HOUSE COURSES

If the buyer wishes to move dates for consulting services / in-house courses, this can be done in agreement with Acuity World ApS up to 3 months before. However, when course participation is postponed at the buyer's request, the payment terms apply to the originally agreed course. If the buyer wishes to move dates later than 3 months before, Acuity World ApS has the right to consider this as a cancellation (see item 7), or choose to invoice for lost earnings.

9. IMPLEMENTATION OF CONSULTANT SERVICES / IN-HOUSE COURSES

No reimbursement is granted if the buyer chooses not to use parts of the service / course.

 

10. CANCELLATION OF CONSULTANTS / IN-HOUSE COURSES

If a consultancy service, a course or a simple course day is canceled by Acuity World ApS because the consultant / instructor is ill / prevented / absent, and a suitable substitute cannot be organized, Acuity World ApS will arrange as far as possible another consultant or replacement course days.

11. RECLAMATION

If the Buyer believes that the course delivery or consultancy provided does not in essence correspond to the offer, and therefore wishes to claim a refund of part of the consideration paid, a written complaint must be submitted so that it can reach Acuity World ApS at the latest 6 business days after the delivery ends.

 

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Buyer is aware of these conditions that, although Acuity World ApS's services and courses aim at personal development, they have no therapeutic aim, and for Acuity World ApS, its educators and / or subcontractors, the liability for as far as possible is waived. unintended results in this field and possible lack of personal development for the individual participants. Because part of the purpose of the courses is a high degree of personal development, the various courses may contain provocative, obscene and cross-border elements for anyone. These are some of the methods that each instructor can use to provide the best possible learning situation for participants in general. The buyer is also advised that, under these conditions of sale, participants who may have mental and / or physical problems should seek help from the appropriate body such as a doctor or psychologist and should refrain from participating in the courses. The buyer is also reminded that Acuity World can serve / have served customers in the same or similar industry as the buyer, both at courses and through consultancy services, and that this cannot give access to claim or other claims against Acuity World ApS in the occasion. It is also the responsibility of the purchaser in writing to emphasize any confidential information or matters that are specifically wanted to be kept secret by competitors or the like, but which are considered necessary to submit to the consultant / instructor.

13. EMPLOYMENT OF ACUITY WORLD EMPLOYEES OR SUPPLIERS

The Buyer undertakes only to seek, with the written consent of Acuity World ApS, to hire employees of Acuity World ApS and / or its subcontractors within a period of 24 months following the completion of a course and the consultancy service's final delivery.

14. FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party is entitled to damages or to terminate the agreement in the event of failure or insufficient performance, if this is due to force majeure which could not or should not have been foreseen by the parties at the time of the conclusion of the agreement or related agreements.

15. COURSE MATERIALS M.V.

Acuity World ApS reserves the right to make changes to the design and content of course material at any time, provided that the changes in question do not significantly impair the ability of the buyer or course participants to use the purchased in the course context.

16. ELECTIONS AND LAWS

Any disagreement or dispute between the parties regarding the understanding and scope of these sales and delivery provisions shall be settled by the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen using Danish law.

Terms of trade - Acuity World Webshop

1. Payment Conditions

 

1.1 Payment methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Dankort

• Visa / Dankort

• MasterCard

• Bank Transfer / Invoice

 Prices shown on the webshop are exclusive of Danish VAT (25%). You will be informed of the price with VAT in the box before you pay. All trading at Acuity World Webshop takes place in Danish.

 

 1.1.1 Credit Cards

During the payment phase you will be given the goods you have ordered and the total price. When you choose to go to the checkout, you will be taken to a secure server at Quickpay, where you must enter the following:

• Credit card number

• Expiration date

• Check digits

If you do not fill in these fields correctly, Acuity World Webshop will not complete your goods purchases. Then press 'Approve'. The amount will only be deducted from your account when the item is shipped from Acuity World. You will receive a receipt upon receipt of the order.

 

1.1.2 Bank Transfer / Invoice

If you choose bank transfer, you will receive an invoice upon order receipt. The invoice must be paid within 14 days if the invoice is not listed. 2. Terms og Purchase 

 

2.1 Order Confirmation / Invoice

Once we receive your order, we will send you an invoice confirmation per email with information about your order. Always check the order confirmation that everything looks correct. If you have any questions, want to change or cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. You can always see the status of your orders. Simply log into your account and click on the "Account Summary" icon, which is located at the top of every page in the webshop.

 

2.2 Prices

Delivery to addresses in Denmark and Europe: All prices are current retail prices incl. 25% VAT. Delivery to addresses outside Europe: Delivery of goods to addresses outside Europe will be delivered without VAT. Reservations are made for printing errors or price changes.

 

2.3 Personal Information

By signing up and / or ordering, you agree that Acuity World Webshop and its affiliates store and use information about your purchases and the contact information you provide. 4. Return & Claim 

 

4.1 Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days right of withdrawal from the date you receive the item. No sound or picture recording rights are granted if you have broken the seal unless the item is defective. If you return an item, the item must be in substantially the same condition as when it was received and accompanied by a copy of your invoice or invoice number.

You can undo a purchase by:

1) refuse to receive the item.

2) hand over the item unopened to the postal service.
